The undercard for the December 5 boxing night in Los Angeles has been announced. The main event will be a bout between Gervonta Davis (25-0, 15 KOs) and Isaac Cruz (22-1-1, 15 KOs). At stake in the meeting will be the "regular" WBA lightweight championship belt.
Cruz replaced Rolando Romero, who was accused of domestic violence a few days ago. The 23-year-old Mexican defeated former world welterweight champion Francisco Vargas.
In the undercard, fans will also see former middleweight title challenger Sergiy Derevyanchenko (13-3, 10 KOs), who will step into the ring for the first time after more than a year hiatus against Carlos Adams (20-1, 16 KOs). Los Angeles will also feature Sebastian Fundora (17-0-1, 12 KOs) fighting Sergio Garcia (33-0, 14 KOs) and Eduardo Ramirez (25-2-3, 12 KOs) fighting Miguel Marriaga (30-4, 26 KOs).
December boxing night in the United States will be shown on pay-per-view on Showtime.
