Gadzhiev names five best Russian fighters in MMA history

Kamil Gadzhiev, president of AMC Fight Night, has named the top five best Russian fighters in MMA history.

"Khabib and Fedor I would put next to each other, they're both in first place. That's objective. I realistically think so. They were at different times, at different weights, but each was number one in the world P4P rankings. I'll put Alexander Shlemenko in third place. Piotr Ian is in fourth place, but he has the potential to rise above Shlemenko. Petya has accelerated so much that in two or three more years, if he is king of this weight class, he will definitely be third after Khabib and Fedor. And in the fifth place someone who has not yet finished his career, but will end up in the top five is Alexander Volkov, Islam Makhachev, Vitaly Minakov and so on. Andrei Orlovski could be named, but he didn't finish his career then, and now he's turned into a good known veteran, who no longer symbolizes victory in pure form. He's just cool, entertaining, and interesting."
