Mayweather and McGregor to have a rematch?

On Saturday at one of the UFC events in Las Vegas Conor McGregor scored his another victory in MMA. The Irish knocked Donald Cerrone out at 40th second of their fight after more than a year's break.

Shortly after this evening Floyd Mayweather Jr. began to publish posts in social networks, that the fans could see his rematch with the Irishman this year. Their first fight took place in August 2017. The duel became a great financial success and ended for Mayweather with the victory by TKO in the tenth round.

UFC boss Dana White confirmed that the theme of the second fight of Mayweather and McGregor continues to be debated. White said that for some time now he receives messages from Mayweather on this matter.

Answering the question to the media about a potential rematch against Mayweather, McGregor said that such a meeting could be held. The Irishman has earned several times more than in his entire career in MMA for the first fight against the American. Mayweather, in turn, at to the performance of nearly 3 years ago, has overcome the barrier of one billion dollars earned in the professional ring.
