UFC President Dana White told about the possible return of the Irish fighter Conor McGregor to MMA. White stated that he is considering the possibility of a duel between McGregor and Donald Cerrone: “We have a meeting with Conor. I think we will talk next week, then decide what to do next. In my opinion, the fight with Cerrone would be interesting. This is a good idea. But in general, we have several options for Conor, although he himself said that he wanted to fight with Cerrone.”
“I don’t know what Conor is thinking now, but such a fight makes sense,” said White.
Cerrone won three fights in a row. April 5 at the UFC tournament in Ottawa, he defeated Al Iaquinta. MacGregor has not entered Octagon since 2018, when he lost to the Russian Khabib Nurmagomedov.
