Floyd Mayweather, who is currently on tour in Asia, visited the Philippines, the home of his former opponent Manny Pacquiao, a duel with which was the most box office event in the history of professional boxing. On arrival, Mayweather talked with local journalists and explained his attitude towards the upcoming Pacquiao fight against Lucas Matthysse on July 14 in Malaysia.
"This is a worthy duel, a very interesting battle," Mayweather said. "Manny Pacquiao and Lucas Matthysse are great boxers. This is a wonderful meeting of two former world champions, and it will be interesting to watch."
"Perhaps we'll even meet with Manny here, at breakfast or at dinner, and we'll just discuss how things are for him and his team," Mayweather said about whether he will seek meetings with a boxer whose fight brought him the biggest purse in his career.
