Frank Warren, promoter of the British heavyweight prospect Moses Itauma, talked about who his fighter might meet after the match against Dillian Whyte.
“There are fights for Itauma. I like Otto Wallin, Filip Hrgović, and Zhang Zhilei. I think we will be aiming for these three fights in the next 12 months, before next summer comes, and we will start talking about fights with serious top-level opponents for championship titles. But, in my opinion, these three fights make sense. I am interested in the winner of the Hrgović versus David Adeleye or Wallin versus Zhilei fight. A small step aside or possibly one step forward.
There are fights that we can agree upon at the right time and for the right reasons. I fully respect Dillian Whyte, but he has probably reached a stage where he needs to give his career a boost. He needs to accelerate his career,” Warren said.
Let us remind you that the fight between Itauma and Whyte will take place on August 16 in the capital of Saudi Arabia, Riyadh.
