On February 15 in the Voin Crossfit hall in Kiev WWFC heavyweight champion Sergey Spivak (7-0) had a media training session before the fight against Bjorn Schmiedeberg (12-7-1) from Germany that will be the main event of the WWFC 10 tournament, scheduled for March 24 in the Kiev Sports Palace.
"I know that my rival is from Germany and that his name is Bjorn. But I don't know about him anything more. I do not study rivals - it's not my style," Spivak said. "You know, for me it does not matter which rivals I'm gonna meet. I'm in this sport since I was 7, I was doing judo, sambo, jiu-jitsu, boxing. I fought almost every weekend and in my life I've already won a lot of different championships. I went out with guys who weigh 160 kg and were 2 meters tall. So it's all the same to me."
According to Spivak, even such a name as Stipe Miocic, the current UFC heavyweight champion, does not frighten him: "I think anyone can be beaten. You just need a goal and a desire. If you have a goal, and you are honest about your business, every day you defeat yourself, refuse all temptations and go for it, then you can defeat any opponent. What's important is what in your head."
