The next rival of the Ukrainian light heavyweight WBC #2 Alexander Gvozdyk (13-0, 11 KOs) may become American Craig Baker (17-1, 13 KOs). Craig Baker became known in February 2015, when he sensationally knocked out in the second round the famous Cuban Umberto Savigne. However, after three months, Baker lost a technical knockout in the third round to the Dominican Edwin Rodriguez.
After the defeat of Rodriguez, Baker did not fight for 13 months, but in the first bout after his return he knocked out in the eighths round the previously unbeaten Australian Steve Lovett, the fight with which remains the last in Baker's track record at the moment.
Alexander Gvozdyk vs Craig Baker can be held on August 19 in Lincoln, Nebraska, USA.
