Whittaker doesn't envision Strickland getting a rematch with Du Plessis

Robert Whittaker, former UFC middleweight champion, doesn't think Shawn Strickland will get a rematch with Dricus Du Plessis.

"Shawn, call me out, bummer. I feel like the UFC will set up a fight between Dricus and Izzy since they have a conflict and storyline with Africa. I really can't imagine the UFC giving Strickland a chance again. I don't think they liked him as a champion from the beginning, so I don't think they want or look forward to this rematch. In a way I hope du Plessis gets Izzy, just so I have a chance to have a fight with Shawn," Yahoo Sports quoted Whittaker as saying.
