Covington on Tyson vs. Paul fight: "I hope Mike leaves the ring alive and well"

Former interim UFC welterweight champion Colby Covington has admitted that he fears for the health of legendary boxer Mike Tyson in his bout with blogger Jake Paul.

It was previously announced that Tyson, 57, and Paul, 27, will cross gloves on July 20 in Arlington USA.

"I'm absolutely disgusted with the whole thing. Mike still looks like a superman, but he's 58 years old! He shouldn't be punching anymore. I think it's not safe at that age. You can have a heart attack or a brain hemorrhage. I hope Mike leaves the ring alive and well.

Jake is 20-something years old and he's using every chemical known to man. I think Paul will knock Tyson out in the first two minutes. Unless he wants to turn this freak show into a semblance of a real contest," Covington told The Soscast.
