UFC welterweight Jack Della Maddalena called his upcoming bout with Gilbert Burns a true test of his abilities.

"For me, the fight with him is very important - he is one of the top five fighters of our weight. If I can't beat Gilbert, I can't become a world champion. So my plan is to beat Gilbert and prove that I belong to the top five guys in this division. Gilbert is a good fighter. He's obviously been tested a lot in fights. He's also very durable and he's had fights with some of the best fighters in the world. I definitely expect a serious challenge from him. This Sunday I would like to fight the best version of Gilbert," - quotes the fighter portal Yahoo Sports.
