Tony Bellew, a former world champion and now an analyst, spoke out about the postponement of Tyson Fury’s fight with Alexander Usik.
“Which of them benefits from the transfer? No one benefits. Just unnecessary confusion. Disadvantageous, since both were in training camps and had almost reached their peak form. And now I only think about how nothing will happen again. I know that they agreed to a fine of $10 million if the fight had to be rescheduled again because of one of them. This is madness. A dissection is a dissection. No one is to blame here. Now I constantly think that this could become the most expensive cut in boxing history. After all, it could cost the fighter a fee of about $70 million,” Belew said in an interview with IFL TV.
Let us remind you that Usik’s fight with Fury will take place on May 18.
