Colby Covington the former contender for the UFC welterweight championship belt spoke about his future plans.
“There are many options. Gilbert Burns returns in March. If he beats the guy he's fighting, whatever his name is, then it's entirely possible. Guys, I think Stephen Thompson makes the most sense. The ultimate good guy versus the ultimate bad guy. This fight makes the most sense,” Covington said in an interview with Submission Radio.
Let us remember that in his last fight, which took place in December last year and led UFC 296, Covington lost by unanimous decision to the current welterweight champion of the organization, Leon Edwards.
