The former UFC middleweight champion, Nigerian Israel Adesanya, believes that the famous Dutch kickboxer Rico Verhoeven is capable of achieving success in MMA.
“He has been into MMA for quite some time. The fact that some guys specialize in kickboxing does not mean they are not working on other disciplines. I think he is already well acquainted with the basics of MMA,” Bloody Elbow quotes Verhoeven as saying.
Recall that in his latest fight, which took place in June at the Glory 100 show, Verhoeven won by unanimous decision against Artem Vakhitov.
