Cormier is confident that UFC's transition from ESPN to Paramount will increase fighters' fees

Daniel Cormier claims that the transition of UFC from ESPN to Paramount will significantly increase fighters' fees,

"Fighters are already making more money, that's the difference. I know guys who are earning more now than when they received a percentage from pay-per-view sales because they are not selling as they used to.

When I fought Jon Jones and Anthony Johnson, and Nate and Nick Diaz were on my card, I made a ton of money from pay-per-views. Now that's not realistic. Today, 500-600 thousand is considered a big sales indicator. Broadcasts are not selling as well as before.

I know guys who have already said: 'Can I review the terms considering that the PPV system is gone?' And UFC replied: 'Yes' — now it's guaranteed money. They are doing it. Moreover, both the fighter opening the card and the guy at the very top of the card will earn better. They are giving the guys more money."
