WJZ, a subsidiary of CBS in Baltimore, reported that WBA super featherweight and lightweight champion Gervonta Davis had an accident in South Baltimore. The news reports that the accident happened around 1:53 am Thursday. Baltimore police arrived at the scene of the accident involving multiple vehicles. Several people with minor injuries turned up at the scene, and one was taken to the regional hospital.
