Former world cruiserweight champion Tony Bellew shared his thoughts on a potential fight between WBA, WBC, and IBF heavyweight titleholder Oleksandr Usyk and WBO champion Fabio Wardley.
"You can't expect Fabio Wardley to compete with Usyk. I love Fabio, I think highly of him, and he's a very good fighter.
Listen, I thought Joseph Parker would be too tough for him, but he wasn't. And do you know why that happened? Because Wardley didn't give him a moment's peace during the fight. That's what happens when you don't know the bitterness of defeat. As long as you are unbeaten, you don't know how to lose. I thought Wardley could lose, but he stayed in the fight. Fabio Wardley is the embodiment of the underdog story, but Usyk knows too much," said Bellew.
