At the boxing evening in Fairfax, the bout of the former Russian Olympian Matt Korobov against Immanuwel Aleem was scored by the judges as a draw: twice 95-95 and 97-93 in favor of Korobov. Initially, the result of the battle was announced as the victory of Korobov by a majority decision, but later a representative of Virginia State Athletic Commission stated that this happened because of an error in the calculations.

28-year old old native of Ukraine undefeated Ievgen Khytrov (14-0, 12 KOs) will be boxing January 14th at the Barclay Center against Immanuwel Aleem (16-0-1, 9 КОs) and several days before the fight he told about some sparring with Daniel Jacobs and promised to knock Aleem out.
