28-year old old native of Ukraine undefeated Ievgen Khytrov (14-0, 12 KO) will be boxing January 14th at the Barclay Center against Immanuwel Aleem.

- How is everything going in preparation for January 14 and what can we expect to see from you on fight night?

- Training and preparation going well and according to plan. Sparring with Derevyanchenko and Daniel Jacobs, among many excellent fighters. You can expect a very exciting fight for sure!

- What do you know about your undefeated opponent Immanuwel Aleem?

Ievgen Khytrov: He's quick, good movement, good senses, but also has multiple flaws and makes a lot of mistakes, which I fully intend to exploit

- What weaknesses do you see in him that you feel you'll be able to exploit?

- As much as I would love to tell you, I prefer not to answer that at this time. You will have to see for yourselves on 1/14/17 at Barclays

- What do you consider your biggest advantage over Aleem?

- Definitely my experience, size and power, and continued non-stop assault every second of every round. I intend to exceed 100 punches per round, for full 10 rounds. Hope Aleem is prepared to take that kind of punishment

- What are you hoping a victory on January 14 leads to?

- This victory will take me to another level. It will also make me a mandatory and I am hopeful to fight for a world title shortly thereafter!

- How do you feel about fighting on a major event like Jack-DeGale?

- I'm very thankful and blessed to have this opportunity, and will certainly not disappoint.

- When do you expect to be featured on the televised portion of these kind of events?

- This bout is going to be on Showtime Extreme, and 2017 will be the year I will be able to showcase my talent fighting for a world title on such grand event such as this one

- Do you see the fight with Aleem going the distance?

- Absolutely NOT going the distance. Based on my past experiences in the amateurs, I learned the hard way not to let any fight go into judges' hands, and I fully intend not to let that happen here.

- Is there anything you'd like to say in closing?

- I am pleased to have this opportunity, and definitely looking to start off 2017 with a big bang, and looking to steamroll through the middleweight division.
