Hill is out until the end of next year

Jamal Hill, former UFC light heavyweight champion, will not return to the octagon until the end of 2026 due to knee surgery.

“It turns out that the cartilage in my knee was almost nonexistent, so I had to undergo a cartilage transplant. In my recent fights, I wasn’t jumping, moving, or kicking as I should have. I tried to avoid the surgery because I really wanted to get my belt back,” the American said in an interview with sports commentator James Lynch.
