Darren Till has responded to Khabib Nurmagomedov, who previously claimed that Dagestani fighters are superior to Irish fighters.
"I've always respected Khabib and his team - they're fantastic fighters, but to say that Irish fighters are of a lower level, without considering the size of the countries, is wrong because actually Ireland is way ahead. Ireland is so small and Russia is so damn big. Ireland has given the world some great fighters over the years. I would say that given the size of the country and its performance, Ireland wins and that's not my bias speaking because I'm not friends with Khabib's side or the Irish side. I'm just giving my opinion."
