UFC lightweight Michael Chandler named the most impressive MMA fighter, in his opinion.
“Topuria is perhaps the most impressive mixed martial artist on the planet right now. I like that Ilya is winning titles and dominating people, and this is helped by his brilliant fundamentals — a good jab, a hard right overhand, fighting off a left hook, a couple of leg kicks, and a good sense of distance. He is patient, comfortable in the cage, and he has a clear understanding of when to strike and when to throw combinations. He is impressive. And I don’t think he will lose anytime soon,” Chandler said on Ariel Helwani’s podcast.
