Chimaev: "The UAE is my country, the best in the world"

UFC middleweight title contender Khamzat Chimaev spoke about why he wants to fight at tournaments in the United Arab Emirates.

Chimaev received an UAE passport in February this year.

"I want to fight in the UAE, brother. They pay more money there. It is my country, the best country in the world. I am always happy to train and fight there," Khamzat said in an interview with Main Event.

Let us remind you that Chimaev will hold a title fight against Dricus Du Plessis on the night of August 17 at the UFC 319 tournament in Chicago, USA.
