Jones made the first defense of his belt yesterday, knocking out Miocic in the main event of UFC 309 in New York, USA.
"I thought the fight would end early. Stipe impressed me, he didn't look his worst. He was banking on understanding the fight, but Jones is very hard to hit. And Jones is good in all aspects - he will give a head start to many in stand-up and wrestling, in clinch, in defense he translates, in grappling.... Stipe missed to the body a few times, but I thought Jones would beat him even harder.
Stipe is a classy man. You never want to see a guy like that get beaten up. I think Stipe deserves a round of applause, he didn't look too bad," Volkanovski said on his YouTube channel.
