Oliveira: "I am ready for the fight with Makhachev"

Former UFC lightweight champion Charles Oliveira has declared his readiness to become the next opponent of current division champion Islam Makhachev.

The Brazilian got back into a winning rut yesterday, defeating Michael Chandler at UFC 309 in New York, USA.

"Am I ready for the fight against Makhachev? Definitely. I want to be the champion. Everybody knows that. Right now I'm going to take a couple days off. As soon as the boss tells the reporters that he picked me, I'll step into the cage," MMA Junkie quoted Oliveira as saying.
