Islam Makhachev, the current UFC lightweight champion, spoke about the possible return to the octagon of Khabib Nurmagomedov, the former champion of the organization in this weight and a friend of Islam.
"No! Why would I want to do that? I do not need unnecessary competition," said Makhachev.
Recall, Khabib Nurmagomedov finished his career in October 2020 with a professional record of 29-0.
