Dana White confirmed: Strickland will face the winner of the Du Plessis vs. Adesanya fight

UFC CEO Dana White has announced that Sean Strickland will face the winner of the fight between middleweight champion Dricus Du Plessis and Israel Adesanya.

"Sean Strickland is currently ranked number one in the middleweight rankings, and my answer is 'yes' - he will fight the winner of the fight between Du Plessis and Adesanya," said the head of the organization.

Recall, the fight between Du Plessis and Adesanya will take place on August 17 at UFC 305.
