UFC lightweight Michael Chandler has banned MMA fans from feeling sorry for him because his fight with Conor McGregor was canceled.

"Don't you dare disrespect me by feeling sorry for me. Don't you dare disrespect me by showing me any sympathy. Be inspired by my situation. Be inspired by my resilience and my steadfastness in tying my dreams to a shooting star and keep moving forward. If you've been with me for a while, you know how I operate. You know what my mindset is, what my psyche is. And it's far from the bottom..... So we continue to move forward despite adversity, with complete disregard for previous failures, previous uncontrollable things and future resistance."

Recall, the bout between McGregor and Chandler was scheduled to take place on June 29, but was canceled due to Conor's health issues.
