"I'm not retiring." Silva spoke about plans after the fight against Sonnen

Legendary Brazilian mixed martial arts fighter Anderson Silva has revealed that his upcoming boxing bout against Chael Sonnen will not be the last fight of his career.

"I'm not retiring. I'm just doing my last fight in Brazil. I'm a little sad, even though I'm so happy, but also still a little sad because it's a private event. I'm excited, but a lot of fans have been calling me and talking to me and sending me messages, "Why don't you make the fight for everybody? Open to the public." I said: "Sorry guys, I have no control over this situation."

I started negotiating my next fight. We'll see. Maybe in Saudi Arabia. I'm just waiting for the situation to clear up," Silva said on The MMA Hour show.

Recall that Silva and Sonnen will fight on June 15 in Sao Paulo, Brazil. Previously, the fighters met twice in the UFC, both times the Brazilian celebrated victory.
