Cannonier: "Khabib couldn't beat me."

UFC middleweightJared Cannonnier has lashed out about whether or not former lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov could beat him.

"Would Khabib beat me? I'm going to say no, because I have a big ego. He would definitely have a hell of a hard time. He wouldn't be able to fight me the way he fought all those lightweights. He may weigh 95 pounds now, but us middleweights weigh 100, even 105 pounds. And I don't know, did he get so big now because he was lifting iron or because he was lifting plates of food? It's quite possible that he's following Daniel Cormier's example, unraveling himself. He's been hanging out with DC for too long."

As a reminder, Cannonier is scheduled to fight Nassurdin Imavov on the morning of June 9.
