Brazilian middleweight Paulo Costa broke his silence and commented on his loss in his fight against Sean Strickland.
"Yes, Shawn won and I didn't perform very well. This is my second straight loss in my last three fights against former champions - Luke Rockhold, Robert Whittaker, and Sean. I won one fight and lost two. But let me tell you this - I agree with Dana White and Joe Rogan, and I will do this - I will bring back the old Paulo who was blowing heads off and finishing fights early. I'm not a counter-attacking style fighter - I do better when I go forward, hunt for the head and try to finish fights early.... I have the power to deliver, and I will. Screw working for points and saving energy. I'm going to go out there to blow heads off...".
As a reminder, Costa lost to Strickland by split decision of the judges.
