Javier Mendes, coach of UFC lightweight champion Islam Makhachev, gave a prediction for the upcoming fight between his charge and Dustin Puryear.
"You know, I always want the fight to last all five rounds. Because I don't want to regret anything. For example, I'll say, 'We're going to win the first round,' and the fight will go to the second round. And I'll be a little bit confused. I like to be in control. Because if you miss one little thing, it could cost you the win. So I want the fight to last five rounds and I want us to win by a dominant judges' decision. So my prediction is to win after five rounds," Mendes told Submission Radio.
