In the main event of the evening at Zuffa Boxing 4, the 30-year-old undefeated Opetaya faced 34-year-old American Brandon Glanton. The fight went the full distance of 12 rounds and ended with a confident victory for Jai by unanimous decision — all three judges scored it 119:106 in his favor. The Australian dominated throughout the fight, controlling the pace and delivering precise powerful punches.

The victory was a milestone for Opetaya — his 30th in his professional career without a single loss (30-0, 23 KOs). His opponent Glanton, known for his resilience and knockout power, suffered his fourth defeat, although he showed character by lasting the entire distance.

Before the fight, there was a conflict with the IBF: the organization refused to sanction the fight, considering the Zuffa Boxing title not to be a "mere trophy." As a result, Opetaya lost the IBF belt in this fight but retained his status as The Ring champion.
