The British heavyweight, former IBF champion Daniel Dubois has strengthened his team ahead of his return to the ring. Experienced Ukrainian specialist Nikolay Khmelevich has joined his coaching staff, responsible for technical and boxing preparation in the BuddhaBox gym in London.
Dubois's main coach remains Don Charles, under whose guidance the boxer has already achieved significant success, including winning the IBF belt.
Khmelevich has a solid track record. Throughout his career, he has collaborated with a number of well-known high-level fighters, including former champions Anthony Joshua and Kell Brook, promising Richard Riakporhe, and mixed martial artist Michael Page. His experience is especially valued in building tactics against powerful and aggressive opponents.
Ahead of Dubois is one of the most significant challenges of his career. On May 9, in Manchester at the Co-op Live arena, he will face the reigning WBO world champion Fabio Wardley.
