“I just need to step into the ring and do my job. That's why I will listen to my corner and follow the tactical plan. I know that I have a great team behind me which will lead me to victory. Becoming the first Cuban world heavyweight champion means everything to me. It is a dream come true. And the first step in that direction is this fight. It will open the door for me to a title fight. I have been training all this time, so I won't suffer from any loss of form. Moreover, my experience in the ring will also play its part. My knee has healed, I am 100 percent ready, and I am focused solely on my next fight,” said Frank Sanchez.

“I can't wait to show people what I am truly capable of. This should be the hardest fight in my professional career, as Sanchez is fast, strong, and possesses many qualities that set him apart from other heavyweights. However, I believe I have the best physical conditioning among all heavyweights, and that is what I should build my career on. My goal is to fight the best in the world and to do it as fiercely as possible. He has already proven his worth, so it's time for me to solidify my standing in the upcoming fight. It will be an exciting combination of two different styles and a very good fight,” said Richard Torrez, silver medalist of the 2021 Tokyo Olympics.
