On April 25 in Paris, an intriguing heavyweight bout will take place between Lawrence Okolie (23-1, 17 KOs) and Tony Yoka (15-3, 12 KOs). For Okolie, a former world champion in cruiserweight and bridgerweight, the fight with the Rio Olympic gold medalist will be the toughest test in this weight category.

Yoka, whose professional career so far hasn't been the most impressive, can rise to the top of the world rankings if he wins in April at the Adidas Arena. Okolie currently holds the WBC Silver belt.

"I am pleased to expand our presence in the French capital. As in the UK and Germany, the passion for boxing in France is very strong," said Frank Warren, head of Queensberry Promotions, who will co-promote this event with Samake Promotion.

"Tony faced immense pressure when he transitioned to professional boxing after his Olympic success, carrying the hopes of the entire country on his shoulders. He fought in packed arenas, and perhaps expectations were too high for him. Now, training in London, he returns as a renewed and confident fighter, and his bout on home soil with Lawrence Okolie promises to be thrilling," Warren added.
