Zuffa Boxing, a boxing promotion led by Dana White with financial support from Saudi investors, has published an expanded list of boxers officially associated with the organization through agreements.
Key signings include two Ukrainian fighters: former WBC interim super welterweight titleholder Serhiy Bohachuk (27-3, 24 KOs) and former light heavyweight world champion Oleksandr Gvozdyk (21-3, 17 KOs). Both have already debuted at the second Zuffa Boxing 02 show, which took place on February 1 in Las Vegas. Bohachuk moved up to middleweight and won against Radzhab Butaev by split decision (96-94, 94-96, 96-94) after a tense 10-round fight, earning a "Fight of the Night" bonus. Gvozdyk, however, suffered a technical knockout defeat in the seventh round against Serbian Radivoje Kalajdzic, who made an impressive comeback after several knockdowns.
According to Gvozdyk himself, his contract with the promotion is for three years with a guarantee of at least three fights annually, which should ensure regular activity in the ring.
In addition to the Ukrainians, the Zuffa Boxing roster includes Conor Benn, Edwin De Los Santos, Efe Ajagba, Jai Opetaia, Jose Valenzuela, Mark Magsayo, Shane Mosley Jr., and other promising and experienced boxers from various weight categories.
The initial events of Zuffa Boxing are taking place at Meta APEX in Las Vegas with broadcasts on Paramount+. The format is focused on regular shows with quality main events, which is already attracting the attention of fans and allowing fighters to step into the ring more frequently compared to traditional promotions.
