“I was very upset,” the New Zealander admitted. “I passed all these tests during training camp, and suddenly I receive the shocking news that I failed the test on fight day. Now I have to go through this entire process to get clearance and return to the ring as soon as possible.”
“Right now, I can't say or do much while all this is happening, but I genuinely believe I will get permission soon,” added Parker.
Meanwhile, the manager of the former WBO heavyweight champion, Spencer Brown, stated in an interview with IFL TV yesterday that the unfortunate test result was due to a 'dirty' sample, and additional information on this matter will be published soon.
