"The decision to part ways was not made by Daniel himself. Someone clearly interfered in our relationship. He was not capable of making such a decision on his own, I am 100% sure of that. And yet, it affects him the most because he is the one stepping into the ring. He should be the one making key decisions, not someone else. I am very disappointed, very saddened, but this will never change what we have achieved together. No one can take that away from us," stated the former coach of DDD.
"If Daniel gets the chance, a second time, and then possibly a third time, he will become the heavyweight world champion. He has all the prerequisites for that," concluded Charles.
Let's recall that the bidding for the right to hold the official IBF heavyweight elimination fight between Dubois and Frank Sanchez (25-1, 18 KOs) is supposed to take place on Thursday.
