Eddie Hearn is convinced that Chris Eubank Jr. (35-3, 25 KOs) will end his professional career after Saturday's rematch with Conor Benn (23-1, 14 KOs). This fight will be the main event of the evening at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London.
"I wish him all the best, but I think next Saturday will indeed be his last fight. I think he's already a bit old, and he's been outboxed. His last fight was very tough for him. I'm sure Conor Benn will win the rematch. I wish both fighters good luck. May they both come out of this fight without injuries," said Hearn in an interview with The Ring magazine.
The 36-year-old Eubank has been fighting in the pro ring since 2011. Rumor has it that if he defeats Conor Benn a second time, he could face Saul Alvarez in a UK tournament next year.
Saturday's Eubank-Benn rematch will be broadcast on the DAZN platform as a pay-per-view. Richard Riakporhe, Adam Azim, and Jack Catterall will also take part in Saturday's event.
