The fight of the Mexican WBO featherweight world champion Rafael 'El Divino' Espinoza against Ukrainian Arnold Khegai at the 'Coliseo' arena in San Luis Potosi, Mexico, on Saturday, November 15 will be broadcast live exclusively on the Top Rank Classics FAST channel in the USA.
As part of the Espinoza-Khegai tournament, performances by many rising Top Rank stars and experienced fighters are planned. In the 12-round junior welterweight bout, the IBF world title will be contested, where Mexican Olympian Lindolfo Delgado (23-0, 16 KOs) will face compatriot Gabriel Gollaz Valenzuela (31-4-1, 17 KOs). Outstanding boxer Emiliano Fernando Vargas (15-0, 13 KOs) will meet Jonathan Monrel (19-3, 13 KOs) in a 10-round junior welterweight bout, heavyweight star Richard Torres Jr. (13-0, 11 KOs) hopes to start a new knockout streak in a scheduled 10-round bout against Tomas Salek (23-7, 14 KOs), and 17-year-old phenom Julian Montalvo (4-0, 3 KOs) looks to impress in a six-round junior lightweight bout against Nicolas Patron (3-2, 1 KOs).
Also on FAST will be a fight by former Japanese kickboxing legend Tenshin Nasukawa (7-0, 2 KOs), who will fight for his first boxing world title with Takuma Inoue (20-2, 5 KOs). At stake in their encounter will be the vacant WBC bantamweight world title. The meeting is scheduled for Monday, November 24, and will take place at the 'Toyota' arena in Tokyo, Japan.
Nasukawa and Inoue will fight for the title left vacant by Junto Nakatani, who is currently competing in the junior featherweight division. The Top Rank Classics broadcast from Tokyo will also include an IBF featherweight title eliminator between Mikito Nakano (14-0, 13 KOs) and Ra'eese Aleem (22-1, 12 KOs), as well as a 10-round bantamweight bout from young fighter Tomoe Tsuboi (2-0, 1 KOs) against former world champion Carlos Cuadras (44-5-1, 28 KOs).
