During a recent appearance on The Big Podcast With Shaq, Tyson was asked to name the best heavyweight ever. He initially joked, "Me," before quickly correcting himself.

"Me. No, Muhammad Ali then me."

Tyson burst onto the boxing scene in the mid-1980s and quickly became the most feared fighter on the planet. He won his first 19 fights by stoppage, with 12 of those victories coming in the first round.

In 1986, Tyson made history by defeating Trevor Berbick for the WBC heavyweight title. At just 20 years old, he became the youngest world heavyweight champion ever - a record that still stands today.

The following year, Tyson unified the heavyweight division. At 21 years and one month old, he beat WBA champion James Smith and IBF champion Tony Tucker to become the undisputed king of the heavyweights.

While Tyson's career was impressive, he gave the top spot to Muhammad Ali. The late boxing icon won the world heavyweight championship three times over a 21-year career. Ali's impact reached far beyond the boxing ring, and he scored notable wins over Joe Frazier, Ken Norton, and George Foreman.

Ali's legendary status in boxing history remains unmatched, as both his in-ring accomplishments and cultural influence continue to inspire generations of fighters and fans alike.

You can watch Tyson's full interview on The Big Podcast With Shaq, where he discusses his thoughts on the greatest heavyweights and other boxing topics.
