Alvarez, now 34, started his pro career when he was just 15 years old. He's getting ready for his 68th professional fight. The Mexican star has won world titles in four different weight classes and has been the undisputed super-middleweight champion twice.

In May, Alvarez beat William Scull. He's also beaten big names like Miguel Cotto, Erislandy Lara, Jermell Charlo, and Gennady Golovkin. Alvarez has only lost twice - once to Floyd Mayweather and once to Dmitry Bivol.

The fight with Crawford will be shown on Netflix. Crawford is moving up two weight classes for this fight. If he wins, he'll be the first male fighter to hold all four belts in three different weight classes.

In a recent feature for The Ring Magazine, Alvarez made a bold statement about Crawford. He said Crawford is better than Floyd Mayweather, Manny Pacquiao, and Oscar De La Hoya. When asked if he could name a better fighter than Crawford, Alvarez didn't say anything.

"Crawford is a better fighter than Mayweather, Pacquiao, and De La Hoya,"
Alvarez said.

This comment from Alvarez shows how much he respects Crawford's skills. It also sets the stage for what could be one of the biggest fights of the year.
