Gervonta Davis Faces Legal Trouble After Incident: "I'll Be Back Stronger"

The incident happened on Father's Day. Davis and his ex were in his car with their kids. He told her to get the children out because he didn't want to take them anymore. As she leaned into the back seat to get their daughter, Davis punched her in the back of the head. He then slapped her face, leaving a small cut inside her lip.

The ex-girlfriend texted her mom for help. When her mom showed up, she saw her daughter crying and arguing with Davis. She even filmed part of the fight, catching Davis throwing a small box at the victim.

"He hit me in the head and slapped me," the victim reportedly told the police. "I'm scared of him and don't want him to hurt me again."

The cops arrested Davis in the early hours of Friday, July 11, 2025. He's now in jail, waiting for his bail hearing.

This arrest puts Davis' boxing career in hot water. He was set to fight Lamont Roach on August 16, 2025. But now, that match will likely get canceled.

It's not the first time Davis has been in trouble with the law. In 2020, he faced charges for a hit-and-run incident. The boxing world will be watching closely to see how this latest arrest affects his future in the ring.
