Wilder's win came after a tough stretch. He lost four out of his last five fights, including two knockout defeats to Tyson Fury, a loss to Zhilei Zhang, and a points loss to Joseph Parker. The fight against Herndon was his first in a year.

Even though Wilder got the stoppage, many in the sport weren't too impressed. He's now looking to push towards world honors again, and a new opponent has been suggested.

Frank Warren, a well-known boxing promoter, thinks a fight with Fabio Wardley would be exciting. He said:

"Well, if you put him in with one fighter from our stable, it would be someone I want to beat him. I'll tell you what would be a really exciting fight, him and Fabio. Two bangers."

Wardley is on the rise in the heavyweight division. He recently stopped Justis Huni in the 10th round, even though he was behind on the cards. Before that, he brutally stopped Frazer Clarke in a rematch after their first fight ended in a 12-round draw.

The British fighter has also beaten David Adeleye and Nathan Gorman. He's fought 19 times and knocked out 18 of his opponents. Right now, Wardley holds the WBA Interim heavyweight title.

If Wilder takes this fight, it could fast-track him to the top of the rankings because of Wardley's interim title. Both fighters are known for their knockout power, so fans can expect fireworks if this match happens.
