Jake Paul and Julio Cesar Chavez Jr are getting ready to face off in the ring. The two fighters will meet on Saturday, June 28, at the Honda Center in Anaheim.

Paul, the 28-year-old from Cleveland, has only one loss on his record. He's coming off a unanimous decision victory over Mike Tyson last November, a win that sent the boxing legend into permanent retirement. Now, Paul's got his sights set on becoming a legitimate world champion.

On the other side of the ring, we've got Chavez Jr. The 39-year-old Mexican fighter and former WBC world middleweight champion has had his share of challenges. He's dealt with the pressure of being the son of a famous boxer, high expectations, and struggles with drugs. But things are looking up for Chavez Jr, who's now competing as a cruiserweight.

Oscar De La Hoya, who's seen Chavez Jr train recently, shared his thoughts on the fight during an interview with Power 106 Los Angeles. He said:

"I can see redemption, you know because he's had a tough life, he's had a difficult [life] you know being the son of the father and then the expectations, the pressure, he got involved with drugs and this and that, and you know he seems like he's doing better and he's doing good, and I've seen him train lately."

De La Hoya also spoke with Chavez Jr's father, who had some strong words about his son's chances:

"Look, if my son shows up to the ring the way I've seen him in the last few months... Yeah he's gonna knock out Jake Paul."

The stakes are high for Chavez Jr. He's got the chance to be only the second fighter to defeat Paul, prove his doubters wrong, and grab a shot at redemption.

For Paul, a win over Chavez Jr could lead to bigger things. There's talk that he's in negotiations to fight Gervonta Davis if he comes out on top in this bout.

The fight promises to be an interesting clash between a rising star and a former champion looking to reclaim his glory. We'll have to wait until June 28 to see who comes out on top.
