Mike Tyson might step into the ring again, this time against MMA legend Fedor Emelianenko. The Alash Pride League (APL) wants to make it happen in December.

Tyson, now 58, hasn't had a professional fight since 2005. But he's stayed active with exhibition matches. In 2020, he fought Roy Jones Jr. to a split draw. More recently, he lost to Jake Paul in a Netflix event that got a lot of attention. The fight averaged 108 million live viewers, with 65 million watching at the same time. It's one of the most-watched sporting events ever.

Emelianenko, 48, retired from MMA in 2023 after a long career. He had 40 wins and 7 losses, and was known for dominating in PRIDE Fighting Championships. His last fight was a loss to Ryan Bader. Now, it looks like he's interested in boxing, and Tyson is his inspiration.

APL President Alimzhan Bektaev said:

"We are planning a bout between Mike Tyson and Fedor Emelianenko. Work in this direction is already underway... The tournament, where we want to invite Mike Tyson, is scheduled for December."

If it happens, this fight would bring together two legends from different combat sports. Fans would love to see it, but there are some worries. Tyson looked slower in his last fight, and at 58, people wonder if he can still compete at a high level.

Still, a Tyson-Emelianenko match could be a great way to honor their careers. It would give fans something unique to watch and show how MMA and boxing are coming together.
