Inoue held an open training session before the fight with Cardenas

Inoue will be boxing in the United States for the first time in four years. For Cardenas, this will be the first fight for the world champion title in his career.

The 31-year-old Inoue last fought in January, securing a knockout victory over Ye Jun Kim. The upcoming May fight will feature championship belts from the IBF, WBA, WBO, and WBC.
