Chris Eubank Jr and Conor Benn are set to face off in a big boxing match on April 26. The fight will take place at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium and will be shown on Sky Sports Box Office.

Former boxing champ Carl Froch has shared his thoughts on the upcoming bout. Froch knows a thing or two about heated rivalries. He had a bitter feud with George Groves that led to two big fights. In their first clash, Froch won by a controversial stoppage after getting floored by a big right hand. He later admitted he'd underestimated Groves. Their rematch at Wembley saw Froch win more clearly.

Now, Froch is picking Eubank Jr to come out on top against Benn. He explained his choice on his YouTube show, Froch on Fighting.

"If I'm gunna pick who is my immediate favourite for this fight, I'm gunna pick Chris Eubank Jr."

Froch believes Eubank Jr has the edge due to his better performances at world level and his experience in higher weight classes. He also points out that Eubank Jr is the bigger, stronger fighter.

Eubank Jr certainly has some advantages. He's fought at super-middleweight before and has faced current and former world champions like George Groves, James DeGale, and Arthur Abraham. He's also got a size advantage over Benn.

The build-up to the fight has already gotten spicy. At their first press conference, Eubank Jr smashed an egg in Benn's face. It was a dig at Benn's excuse for failing a drug test back in October 2022.

Benn faces a tough challenge. He's moving up two weight classes for this fight. His most notable win so far came against Chris Algieri, a former champion who was past his prime.

There's a lot of excitement around this fight. It's a bitter rivalry, there's a big weight difference between the fighters, and it pits Eubank's experience against Benn's youth and spite.

The fight is sure to be a big event when it rolls around on April 26. Fans will be eager to see if Froch's prediction comes true or if Benn can pull off the upset.
