Canelo Alvarez thinks Dmitry Bivol will beat Artur Beterbiev in their rematch this Saturday. The unified super-middleweight champion shared his prediction for the light heavyweight championship bout.
Beterbiev and Bivol will face off again after their October clash. In that fight, Beterbiev won by majority decision and became the undisputed light heavyweight champion. He now holds all four major belts in the division - WBA, WBC, WBO, and IBF.
The rematch tops a stacked card. Joseph Parker will take on late replacement Martin Bakole. Shakur Stevenson defends his WBC lightweight title against Josh Padley. Vergil Ortiz and Israil Madrimov will also square off.
Alvarez knows both fighters well. He stopped Sergey Kovalev in 2019 to win the WBO light heavyweight title. But when he tried to grab Bivol's WBA belt in 2022, he lost by unanimous decision. That made Bivol only the second man to beat Canelo, after Floyd Mayweather.

Beterbiev recently said he doesn't plan to fight Alvarez any time soon. The rematch will show if that decision holds up or if Canelo's prediction comes true.
